Tata Power Solar commissioned 820.8 kWp at Cricket Club of India (CCI), Mumbai in 100 days.
The Stadium was inaugurated by Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Tata Power Solar joined hands with Cricket Club of India to utilise the potential of solar energy. The installation of this solar rooftop project helped to generate over 1.12 million electricity per year, which led to 25% of savings in the power consumption cost.
At present, on an average (apart from Stadium Flood lights, which run on DG), the Stadium consumes 4 lakhs kWh /month. However, with the new solar installation, on an average basis the consumption from the grid would fall to approximately 3 lakhs kWh/month.
CCI will also be able to curb the emission of over 840 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually.

They have delivered on the promise of the brand TATA. We have set an example to use rooftop space in the stadiums to help protect the environment.”

Tata Power Solar has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GE to provide solar rooftop solutions for six manufacturing and services sites in India.
Tata Power Solar will install solar rooftop projects at manufacturing sites located at Durgapur in West Bengal, Pallavaram and Hosur in Tamil Nadu, multi-modal manufacturing site at Pune and upcoming factory at Marhowra in Bihar and maintenance facility at Roza in Uttar Pradesh.
The project will be executed on Build-Own-Operate basis.

Dell Inc. is an American multinational computer technology company that develops computers and related products and services. Dell is pairing technology with innovation to make a positive social and environmental impact – building a Legacy of Good. They were looking to invest in clean green energy in their Indian facilities, and partnered with Tata Power Solar to integrate solar power in their energy mix.
Dell is green conscious company, trying to generate green power wherever possible, thereby reducing the load on the environment. At their facility in Bengaluru, they already have a rooftop solar power plant installed.
Dell had two objectives when they were looking at green energy, namely – power the office premises with renewable energy and reduce the usage of energy for cooling the building during summers.
Tata Power Solar offered to commission a vertical solar system, which would produce the essential clean and green energy to power their office and also cut-off direct sunlight from hitting the building, thus keeping it cool during summers.
This is the 1st time in India that a vertical solar installation has happened on an existing building.

Tata Power Solar commissioned 2.67 MW solar carport at Cochin International Airport. The project comprised of putting together 8472 solar panels on 27 carports spread over 20289.9 square meter of area. The entire solar plant is aimed towards reducing 1868 tonnes of CO2 annually.
The grid-connected carport plant required high-level engineering and designing skills for assembling the massive carport structures. Additionally, advanced technology and design was of utmost importance to match and maintain the quality standards in place.

- A historic Win for Tata Power Solar
India's largest solar EPC order bagged by Tata Power Solar. Tata Power Solar steps forward in the mission to contribute to India’s sustainability goals by adding one of the biggest solar EPC projects to our name with SJVN Limited issuing LOA for the EPC order of 1GW for INR 5500 Cr. This EPC order has been designed keeping in mind the innovative use of ‘Make in India’ cells and modules. The project will be developed under the CPSU scheme of MNRE and will be completed within a period of 24months. Covering around 5000+ acres of land in Rajasthan, this project aims at reducing around 22,87,128kg of carbon emission and is expected to generate around 2500 million units annually.
