The region also falls under the challenging terrain of high wind speed that requiredrobust structure design. Tata Power Solar used innovative design of Balance-of-System (BoS) and cabling, along with optimized selection of evacuation systems to render most optimal technical design. The project, in operation for nearly two years, optimizes processes (internal and external) without compromising on the quality & life of the project and ensures cost competitiveness through value engineering and value analysis at multiple levels.

Aligning with the Government’s ‘Make in India’ mission, this is the biggest solar project commissioned which is made using domestically manufactured solar cells and modules. Tata Power Solar acclaimed for world-class safety management system, delivered the plant with 1.3 million safe man hours and is providing employment to more than 50 local people at the site for operations & maintenance for the future.
