Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd., one of India’s leading renewable energy players and a subsidiary of Tata Power, today launched its flagship Ghar Ghar Solar campaign in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. This initiative is aimed at accelerating the adoption of residential rooftop solar by offering high-quality, affordable, and easily accessible solar energy solutions backed by trusted service.
Residents can install Rooftop Solar systems with minimal upfront investment starting from ₹7499 for 2 kW (with monthly instalments starting from Rs 2499/-) and ₹9,999 for 3 kW (with monthly instalments starting from Rs 3209/-). This initiative is impactful for households, turning solar adoption from an aspiration into an economically viable option.
The customers’ solar experience will be further enhance with the complimentary solar insurance for residential customers, offering 1 year of insurance coverage and peace of mind.
The curated offerings will accelerate residential rooftop solar adoption across the state by enabling customers to avail cheaper instalments via curated financial solutions, making solar power more accessible, affordable, and seamlessly integrated into households.

*Under the PSGY, residential households are eligible for central subsidies of ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW, and ₹18,000 per kW for the next 1 kW, with a total subsidy capped at ₹78,000 for systems up to 3 kW.
To date, TPREL has achieved a cumulative installation of 180 MW capacity through 7,600 rooftop solar systems across residential and commercial segments in Rajasthan, reinforcing its position as a trusted solar partner. In FY26, the company aims to install 125 MW of rooftop capacity in Rajasthan, comprising both segments. In Rajasthan, TPREL has a strong network of 39 Channel Partners , which play a pivotal role in the installation of rooftop solar across the state and support the existing customers.

TPREL, the No. 1 Rooftop Solar company for 10 years now, has installed a total of 2 lakh Rooftop Solar systems with an installed 3.4 GW capacity.
TPREL has entered into a strategic partnership with Rajasthan’s power distribution companies (Discoms) to accelerate the adoption of rooftop solar energy in the state. The MoU was signed between TPREL and Rajasthan’s three Discoms: Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL), Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL), and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JDVVNL). The initiative will initially focus on major cities such as Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and Bikaner, before being expanded across the state.
