Honorable President of Mongolia paid his maiden visit to the Cell and Module manufacturing facility of Tata Power Solar in Bangalore 24th September, 2019

His Excellency Mr. Khaltmaagiin Battulga, Presindent of Mongolia along with a delegation visited the Cell and Module manufacturing facility of Tata Power Solar, India’s largest solar energy company and Tata Power’s wholly owned subsidiary. The Honourable President visited Tata Power Solar’s facility which is located in Bangalore.

During his visit, the Honourable President praised capabilities and capacities of Tata Power Solar in utilities scale projects, rooftop and solar powered agriculture pumps. Along with this, he applauded the company for the usage of innovative and state of the art technology in the manufacturing plant. Tata Power Solar’s module manufacturing lines have an in-house production capacity of 400 MW for modules and the cell manufacturing lines with a capacity of 300MW can process both mono and multi-crystalline wafers of 125mm and 156mm sizes.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Ashish Khanna, MD & CEO, Tata Power Solar & President, Tata Power (Renewables) said, “We are honored by the visit of His Excellency Mr. Khaltmaagiin Battulga. His visit demonstrated, his Excellency interest in Renewable Energy especially solar and to personally witness, how Tata Power Solar is producing highest quality products.
