Tata Power Solar Systems Limited has hands-on experience designing and engineering megawatt-scale grid-connected solar power plants over the past ten years
Tata Power Solar's ' on-to-grid' strategy is a paradigm shift in the way individuals and businesses choose and use energy. From 'buying' energy, we are now promoting the innovative idea of 'selling' it. Tata Power Solar is actively promoting the setting up of green power generating stations on your rooftop or in your backyard that harness the free, infinite energy of the sun. This helps not only meet their energy requirements, but individuals and businesses can then sell their surplus energy back to the grid.

Tata Power Solar is a pioneer of many exciting solar energy developments in India. It has the distinction of executing the maximum number of grid-connect projects in India and is well poised to leverage the exponential growth opportunities in this segment. Participating in the innovative Jawaharlal Nehru Solar Mission was just an offshoot of our vision and leadership position.

Our expertise and bandwidth in handling the most complex and challenging projects has helped us embark on the megawatt journey. The 1 MW solar power plant for New Delhi Power Limited (NDPL) at New Delhi, and the 3 MW solar power plant for Tata Power at Mulshi have already been successfully commissioned. Several other projects including a 17 MW solar power plant, a 5 MW project and others of similar magnitude are being executed across the country.

Tata Power Solar has hands-on experience designing and engineering megawatt-scale grid-connected solar power plants totalling more than 85 MW in Germany, USA, Spain, Australia and Italy over the past ten years.
